Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

To be fully transparent, we comply with these requirements as follows:

  • We limit our use of your data. We only use the Google Calendar data we access to provide and improve the core functionality of our service, which is AI-powered appointment scheduling. All use is directly visible and beneficial to you, the end-user.
  • We do not transfer your data. We do not transfer your Google Calendar data to any third parties, except as necessary for the following reasons:
    • To provide or improve our core scheduling features.
    • For security purposes, such as investigating potential abuse.
    • To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
    • In connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, for which we would obtain your explicit prior consent.
  • We do not use your data for advertising. We will never use or transfer your Google Calendar data for serving advertisements, including personalized or interest-based ads.
  • We do not allow humans to read your data. We have strict policies preventing our employees from reading your Google Calendar data. The only exceptions are when:
    • We have your explicit consent to access specific information (e.g., for customer support).
    • It is necessary for security purposes.
    • To comply with applicable laws.
    • The data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Google Calendar Integration and Data Usage

What Google Data We Access

When you connect your Google Calendar to Auto Voice AI, we access:

  • Calendar Availability Information: We check your calendar's free/busy status to identify available appointment times.
  • Calendar Event Creation: We create new calendar events for confirmed appointments.
  • Basic Profile Information: Your email address and name for calendar integration setup.
  • Calendar Metadata: Names and IDs of your calendars to enable calendar selection.

How We Use Google Calendar Data

  • Appointment Scheduling: Our AI voice assistants check your calendar availability to suggest appointment times to customers.
  • Event Creation: We create calendar events containing customer information (name, phone, service details) for confirmed appointments.
  • Availability Checking: We query only time availability - we do NOT read, access, or store the content of your existing calendar events.

Important: We Do Not

  • Read or access the content of your existing calendar events.
  • Store historical calendar data on our servers.
  • Use your calendar data for AI training or machine learning model improvement.
  • Share detailed calendar event information with third parties except as outlined in our Limited Use compliance statement.

Data Security and Protection

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of your information. We have implemented the following measures to safeguard your Google user data:

  • Encryption: We use encryption to protect your information, including the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt data in transit between your browser and our servers. Authentication tokens are stored in an encrypted state at rest.
  • Access Controls: Access to Google user data is restricted to authorized personnel who have a legitimate business need to access it, and is governed by the strict controls mentioned in our Limited Use compliance statement.
  • Secure Infrastructure: Our services are hosted on a secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security protections.
  • Regular Security Reviews: We regularly review our security practices to ensure the ongoing protection of your data.

Third-Party Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • Legal Basis: Necessary for service provision.

Essential Service Providers

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Our hosting providers process calendar requests as part of technical infrastructure.

  • Detailed calendar event content or descriptions.
